Carmen Rosenberg was born in Cluj, Romania, in 1951.
Carmen has been passionate about art since early childhood and has been practicing drawing, painting and pottery in different proffesional frameworks.
After emigrating to Israel, Carmen learned graphic design at Bezalel Academy of Art (1 yr) and Design, and pottery at Tel-Hai Art Institute (4 yrs). She has been practicing pottery, until in 2005 she discovered the magical world of glass.
Carmen participated in several extensive glass fusing classes to learn different techniques and tools:
Studio Pandora (Sorano, Italy), under the mentorship of Miriam Di Fiore (Italy)
The Glass Furnace (Istanbul, Turkey), under the mentorship of Patty Gray (USA)
Carmen recently (2014) participated in a glass casting class at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (Israel).
In her works, Carmen combines glass fusing and casting with painting, ceramics, metals and other materials to create decorative items, jewelries, serveware and decorarive lightning.
